Get Well Soon

I created this cute little card tonight. I used the brayer, the Organic Grace set, Dazzling Diamonds and the oval hardware.

This was really easy to do. First I stamped the flower using colored pens/markers. Then I cut a piece of paper to cover up the flower. I then striped the brayer with ink and rolled it on both vertical and horizontal. I used the glue stick and went around the outside edges to make a “frame” of glue. Then I added a mixture of Dazzling Diamonds and Clear Embossing Powder. After that is dry, if you brush the edges, the glue will rub off, stamp the Get Well Soon (Always in My Thoughts set) on Whisper White, punch out with the small oval punch, insert in bracket and glue onto the card. Voila! It’s done!

Bookmarks

I CASED this idea from the templates section of SU. I decided to use different images on all of the bookmarks.

Card Stock

1 8 1/2 x 11 Sheet of Cardstock

Turn paper horizontally (landscape) and score vertically 2 3/4″ across the paper making 4 sections.

2 1/4″ from bottom, score all the way across horizontally

Fold in the outside panels to meet in the middle.

Cut a diagonal line from the far left bottom corner to the
center where the horizontal line runs across at the section
where the two folds meet. Repeat with the right side.

Open the card and there will be two triangular points.
Fold these into the section above and glue only the center
of the points.

I have updated the Specials page. SU has the Retired List out, the new Sale-A-Bration catalog and the Love You Much Promotion. The new Spring/Summer 2009 catalog will be out January 19th.
