V-day Card I made for my DH

14 02 2009

I made this cute little Valentin’s Day card for my husband. My DIL had given me these mini clothespins and I told her I would use them on something. I CASED this design form a card making book I have. None of it is SU, though. Again, I was trying to use up some stock I already had prior to being a demonstrator.

Valentine’s Day Cards

I made several of these cute little V-day cards using the Polka Dot Punches stamp set, white grosgrain ribbon. I only shot this one in red but I did one with the Polka Dot Punches in white on the red carsstock and one with red stamped on white card stock alternating the black for red on those two. I used the Ticket Punch for the corners and the Tag Punch for the tag.

I made this little card for a girl at work last week.  I used the retired bear (can’t remember the name of the set at the moment), with a light teal paper and chocolate print. The papers, buttons and ribbon are not SU. Theses were some I had laying around the house. 🙂 The hardware is from the retired set, too.

I cased this basic layout from the SU site, too.

I cased the basic design form the SU website. Love the color combinations! I used the water color crayons to do the flowers.
