I whipped this little card up last night. Love the tree! It is from the Branch Out set. I took the tree stamp and first stamped Black Staxon on it. Then before stamping on the cardstock, I stamped quickly pressed it onto the Saddle Brown Stazon, then stampled the cardstock giving the tree a little something exta. I stamped the leaves with both Old Olive and Lavendar Lace throughout the top of the tree. Then at the base of the tree, I used the Lavendar Lace around the base to make it look like petals falling from the blooms. I stamped the Old Olive first at the bottom then the Lavendar Lace.

To do the birds, I used the bird that came with the set, I used a black and a light blue marker. I used the black on the outside edge, the top side of the bird (what would be the back of the bird and head) then used the light blue to do the “under belly” of the bird to resemble a blue jay. I started to do a cardinal but like the blue would blend in better with the other colors. I used the yellow ribbon from SAB, Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White cardstock. I used the new scallop oval, too, with the wording from the Oval All set in the OMC.
