Daisy Basket

2 06 2009

I made this card for my Monday Mailer this week. I used the YoYo Yellow paper and ran it through the Big Shot using both the Large Scallop Die Cut and the checked Backgrounds Textured Plate. I topped it with the Pretties Flowers and those wonderful corduroy buttons in So Safron. the background was done by using the Brayer with, Bashful Blue, So Safron and Pretty in Pink. The ribbon is Certainly Celery (Spring Hostess gift). I used the Scallop Oval Punch, both the large and small Oval Punches.

Sweet 16 Party Dress

2 06 2009

I CASED this from one of my fellow demonstrators, Kathy Hunt. Loved this idea the first time I saw it! πŸ™‚Β  Thanks, Kathy for sharing your talent!!

This card is really easy to do. I used the Big Shot Large Scallop Die and the Bella Rose paper. You use a pattern for the dress, trace it out then cut out the “wings” to make the dress. πŸ™‚ I used a smaller piece of Cardstock Vellum for the underskirt, about a 2′ x 5″ strip. I edged it with Dazzling Diamonds and attached under the floral dress, making sure it hung down enough to show well. πŸ™‚ I topped the dress off with a strip of green ribbon, NOT SU. I used the Corner Rounder for the top and bottom right corners then edged the top, bottom and right side with Pretty in Pink stamp pad.Β  You can use any “girlie” stamp of your choice. As I said, this is really easy to make and can be done with any patterned or solid paper.

Envelope Box

1 06 2009

Here is a cute little 3 x 3 box created from the Big Shot Envelope Die. Love this little envelope!! I bought the actual Whisper White 3 x 3 envelopes from SU and then cut strips of 3 x 6 to make the cards. I simply scored them in the middle. πŸ™‚ I use Parisian Breeze, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White papers.Β  I CASED this one, I think, from the SU website. πŸ™‚ It’s really easy to do. I made four small cards to go inside with the envelopes but you can do less. Keep in mind, this size cannot be sent via regular postal mail. Only for attaching to a gift or hand delivery. πŸ™‚

Butterfly Pearls

1 06 2009

I recently bought the Big Shot and must say I really like what you can do with it! πŸ™‚ Below are two cards that I CASED the basic layout but changed a couple of things. I can’t remember where I saw them or I would love to mention their creater. If I come across them again, I will post it here. πŸ™‚

I used the Big Shot Dies and Embossing Templates to make these special cuts and designs. The pearls are from the Pretties Kit as is the white flower in the bottom pic. The small pearls on the die cut butterfly are not SU. πŸ™‚ Love the pearls! Also, the small pink flower is not SU but from Bazill designs. The papers are Pretty in Pink, Clear Cardstock Vellum, Chocolate ChipΒ and the Bella Rose DSP. I used the large oval punch and the scallop oval punch for the tag.Β
