The Digital Age is HERE!

15 07 2010

I LOVE THE MDS!!! I have just completed my certification for the MDS. For those who don’t know what the MDS is, it is My Digital Studio. It is a software package you can create scrapbook pages, cards, calendars and even muli purpose pages and albumns – WITH SU’s stamps, papers and punches in DIGITAL format!!! The software comes is chock full of great papers, stamps, embellishments, etc. But, you can also, purchase new items or any of your favorites that are NOT included in the software. Below are some of the creations I have made using the MDS. Some are with added embellishments while a few are straight digital.

All Digital Design

The following are scrapbook pages of my grandson’s 1st birthday party.

These are digital and hand embellished.

I scream, you scream, we all scream ICE CREAM

15 07 2010

Some of my fondest memories of the summers as a kid was churning that ice cream maker. 🙂 Nothing like homemade ice cream. Here are a couple of ice cream cards.

The Flower Collection

15 07 2010

I really love making flowers and the faux suede is my favorite one.  Here is my “flower collection”. 🙂

These were made exclusively with the faux suede technique. Not hard to do but time consuming.

I used the heart punch with the faux suede technique on this flower. I like the way it turned out. The technique I used on the “stamp” is called Black Magic.

Another faux suede with the awesome Bridal DSP.

The last two are from the Tropical Flower  Diecut.

Biker Bear

15 07 2010

I made this cute card for my son’s birthday. He loves motorcycles and while he doesn’t look like my biker bear, I knew he would enjoy it. 🙂

Build A Bear Bride

15 07 2010

I love these bears and had brides on the brain in June and created this fun little gal. Some of the craftsmanship was via the Big Shot, the Fauz Suede flowers and general paper design. Enjoy!

A Few Fun Cards!

24 04 2010

Well, I broke down and bought the MDS! Here are 2 of my very first projects.  I think they turned out pretty well. 🙂

I have to thank Melanie Schulenberg for her wonderful idea! I CASED this one!  She used the glaccine bag but I use the cello one. She also used a Bashful Blue 1/4″ ribbon through the knot in the ribbon but I left it off.

We made these “sidestep” cards in stamp club last month. I CASED the idea from Cheryl Adams.

The Dress Collection

I just love this dress pattern I got from Melanie Schulenberg! I have created several different designs but all of them are my favorites. 🙂

And my favorite – the wedding dress!
